Two-Day Beginners Bag Making

Class times: 10am till 6pm

Ideal for newcomers to bag making, this class introduces students to basic pattern cutting techniques and construction methods with the aim of completing a finished product by the end of the session.

Although the bags can be made using industrial equipment the purpose of the course is to show techniques in how to achieve a professional standard of finish using a domestic sewing machine. The bags can be produced from a variety of cloth up-to furnishing weight or light weight leather and with leather trimming and straps.

Experience of using a domestic sewing machine is recommended before taking this class.
