Acceptance
Course bookings or product purchases made via our website, email, telephone, in person or post are deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions (as made clearly available on our website at www.prescottandmackay.co.uk) by all parties including both the purchaser and course attendee/s.
Payment
To be made in full upon booking by credit/debit card through our secure payment provider SAGE.
Confirmations
Prescott & Mackay will confirm availability of a course date/product shortly after receipt of booking and payment. All bookings and purchases will be considered provisional until funds have cleared.
Prices, dates and times
These are correct at time of going to press but may be subject to change without notice.
Cancellations
UK Courses : Courses of two days in duration and less: Prescott & Mackay must receive at least 14 days notice prior to commencement of the course from students wishing to cancel.
Courses greater than two days in duration including Evening Classes: Prescott & Mackay must receive 28 days notice prior to commencement of a course from students wishing to cancel.
USA Courses: Prescott & Mackay must receive at least 1 month notice prior to commencement of the course from students wishing to cancel.
No refunds on cancellations within these stated periods will be issued.
Change of dates
Courses of two days in duration and less: Students wishing to change their course date must give at least two weeks notice prior to commencement of the course in which case an alternative date will be arranged.
Courses of greater than two days duration including Evening Classes: Students wishing to change their course date must give at least 28 days notice prior to commencement of the course in which case an alternative date will be arranged.
Fittings
All shoes are made to standard fittings unless otherwise agreed between the student and Prescott & Mackay.
Force majeure
If a course/holiday has to be cancelled by Prescott & Mackay for whatever reason, applicants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of all monies paid. No additional compensation will be paid and course attendees are strongly advised to seek their own insurance.
Availability
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. In cases where Prescott & Mackay is unable to book applicants on their first, an alternative date will be offered.
Special/promotional offers
Applicants wishing to partake of any promotional offer made by Prescott & Mackay must do so by the date specified in the promotional material relating to that particular offer. All promotional offers made by Prescott & Mackay are only applicable to the course dates specified and to the named recipient of that material unless otherwise stated. Any particular offer made by Prescott & Mackay is individual and separate and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Early Bird Offers need to be booked within the time limit specified on the website and no exceptions will be made to this. If a cancellation is made after booking with the Early Bird Discount then an administrative fee of £25 will be applied to the refund.
Liability
Prescott & Mackay cannot accept liability for any damages, expenses, injury, death or other loss suffered by any person(s) from any cause other than in the case of negligence on the part of Prescott & Mackay and/or its agent(s). Students/guests are advised to check their personal insurance.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 6 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable. If a product or course fee exceeds the amount listed on the gift certificate the redeemer is responsible for paying the difference at the time of purchase. Any remaining balance after redemption of the gift voucher may be used against further courses and products so long as these fall within six months. No monetary change or refund may be given. Both the purchaser and holders of gift vouchers are subject to the above terms & conditions. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make these terms & conditions available to the holder. The holder of a gift voucher must give P&M 14 days notice if they wish to change the course date for a one or two-day course and 28 days for courses of a longer duration. A change of course date may be made only once and the new date must fall within six months of the original purchase date. We cannot guarantee that the first choice of subject or date will be available.
Vouchers may be used to cover either part of the cost or the entire cost of any available course. They may be used as a down payment on a course allowing for complete payment at a later date. The course must still fall within 6 months of the initial payment.
Next Day Delivery
Free local delivery is a service only available in UK mainland when ordering gift vouchers from Prescott & Mackay website. Our free UK next day delivery service can only be next-day when order is offered and accepted before 12pm Monday - Friday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be delivered on Monday. If you cannot agree to our delivery slots then next day delivery may not be possible.
Specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time you order.
Home Study Aid
Purchasers of Home Study Aids must notify Prescott & Mackay within 7 days of receipt if there are any missing items or discrepancies with their order.
Copyright
The material content of all Prescott & Mackay Courses, Designs, Instruction notes and Manuals, Suppliers Lists, Patterns, Kits, Publicity and Marketing Material, Logos, Website Content and all other materials protected under Copyright law are supplied at our discretion and on the strict understanding that they are for non-commercial use. They may not be reproduced or re-distributed without the explicit and written agreement of Prescott & Mackay Ltd.
We reserve the right to edit or remove any content or images uploaded to the Student Gallery. By submitting content to the Student Gallery, you automatically grant, or warrant that the owner of such content has expressly granted, a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right and license to use the content in any manner that we deem appropriate, at our sole discretion.
